The Complete Guide to
Rudraksha Beads
Rudraksha (เคฐเฅเคฆเฅเคฐเคพเคเฅเคท) โ the tears of Lord Shiva โ are nature's most potent spiritual amplifiers. Sourced directly from Nepal and Java, each bead carries unique divine energy aligned to Vedic astrology.
What is Rudraksha?
Rudraksha beads are seeds of the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree, primarily found in the Himalayan foothills of Nepal. The word "Rudraksha" comes from "Rudra" (Shiva) and "Aksha" (eye). According to ancient Vedic texts including the Shiva Purana and Devi Bhagwat, Lord Shiva was meditating for thousands of years when his tears fell to earth and became these sacred beads.
Each bead has natural "Mukhi" (faces/lines) running from top to bottom. The number of Mukhi determines the bead's ruling deity, planet, and spiritual/healing properties. Authentic Nepal-origin Rudraksha (18โ22mm) are highly prized for their potency.
